Silly Saturday

Well a friend is getting married but to keep costs down wants to make her own invites however is picking my brains She has never made a card before let alone 50 invites so i am trying to keep ideas simple The stipulation is blue and gold - difficult in itself cos thats a warm and a cold colour so should it be on a white or a cream card Anyhow i have played around with these colours but used my own image as they want to put their photograph on but thats not ready yet so heres my interpretation for them to play around with

Half term nearly over - Yay

Well even with the boys home i have managed some crafting an entry for the Arty Girlz challenge http://www.artygirlzchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ was an oriental card in pale green and pink in fact as you can see i've made quite a few this week

What a Week

Well what a week that was DS2 had to go into hospital initially for an operation on a broken wrist that isn't healing but due to his ingrowing toe nails being infected they wouldn't do it i did however persuade them to operate on his toes as this has been an ongoing saga for two years now He is home the pain is better and tomorrow we have to go back to the hospital to have them looked at and redressed I finally got around to doing a spot of card making today a blue willow card for my other sister whose birthday is next month and a beach scene for a challenge over at Auntys Forum (my second home according to family ' giggle' ) It had to involve paint so i used perfect pearls for shimmery sand and dress

For My Sister

Its my Sisters 50th Birthday on Sunday so i made this card - she loves fairies and i have these mameloks that i bought ages ago As its a really special Birthday i wanted to do something special so i decided on a springy card Fingers crossed she likes it

This is a whole new learning curve for me so bear with me whilst i find my feet. Not felt this nervous since i found the world of forums Lets hope i find my way back here tomorrow
